Elmer Harvest Day Buffer Planting

October 6, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Free
Nurture your green thumb this October by helping us plant flowers, shrubs, and grasses! The birds and butterflies will thank you for it.
We’re in need of some helping hands at this year’s Elmer Harvest Day Festival! Join us as we plant native flowers, shrubs, and grasses along Muddy Run. This planting will create habitats for butterflies, birds, and other wildlife while also reducing water pollution.
People of all ages are encouraged to attend as are any volunteer groups. Gloves, shovels, and other tools will be provided. With your help we can keep South Jersey clean, green, and pristine!
9am-2pm Stay as short or as long as you like!
Location: Along Muddy Run Creek, next to the water tower; between Broad and State Street; We’ll be right in the middle of the festival!  Festival is in Elmer NJ (festival runs from 10am-4pm).

Any volunteer groups interested in participating in the planting should contact Christine Nolan at [email protected]
