Virtual Earth Day Event hosted by Green Amendments For the Generations

Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day Learning How People are Advancing Our Environmental Rights

One day only exclusive preview of the PBS show, Here’s The Story: The Green Amendment.

Learn about the Green Amendment movement sweeping the nation and how communities are fighting to achieve constitutional recognition of their inalienable rights to pure water, clean air, a stable climate and healthy environments for all people, including future generations. Learn how the movement started, where it’s going and how you can become a leader in your community for constitutional Green Amendment rights.

While our current system of environmental laws is allowing communities to be harmed by pollution, environmental degradation, and an advancing climate crisis, Green Amendments provide constitutional power that can be used to stem and turn the tide for powerful environmental protection.

From the Emmy nominated producer Steve Rogers, join us for an exclusive sneak preview of the PBS show, Here’s The Story: The Green Amendment Story. You can view the short film anytime on April 22nd from 9am EDT to 9pm MDT here. Then, tune in throughout the day for special live features such as a Facebook live Q&A with:

  • Maya K. van Rossum, Founder of the Green Amendment movement & author of the award-winning book, The Green Amendment: Securing Our Right to a Healthy Environment
  • PA Senator Franklin Kury who drafted and championed the first Green Amendment in the nation
  • Dr. Anthony Ingraffea, Dwight C. Baum Professor of Engineering Emeritus at Cornell University & national fracking expert who has helped use PA’s Green Amendment against the industry.

End the celebration by playing a special edition of our weekly, virtual #GreenAmendmentTrivia game! Use what you learned watching the film to compete against players across the nation for special prizes including honey baskets from our proud sponsor, Honey, the Moon! Farms. Sign up here to play!
