Sustainable South Jersey Earth Festival

The Sustainable South Jersey annual Earth Festival is the largest eco-event in South Jersey and draws 5000 visitors. This year’s theme is: Reduce Plastic – Fantastic! This family-friendly event features: bike ride (8:30am), bike valet parking, entertainment, healthy food for purchase (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, too), outdoor arts & crafts, earth-friendly vendors and organizations, perennial plant swap, free tree seedlings (while supply lasts), recycle-upcycle depot drop-off, plastic-cap kids-craft, reusable water bottle refills, and Flying Fish Sustainable Sips (aged 21+) and more. This is an all-weather FREE event.

Celebrate Fall Migration on the Delaware River

This wooded island in the Delaware River is truly an urban oasis for woodland, wading and shore birds. Learn some interesting history along the way and discover how this industrial port is transforming into a wildlife sanctuary. Registration is REQUIRED for this trip. 14th Annual Lines on the Pines

Join the Pinelands Preservation Alliance for  the 14th annual “Line on the Pines” on Sunday, March 10th from 11 am to 4 pm. This Pinelands education at Stockton University is a very special chance to meet Pine Barrens authors, artists and artisans. Over eighty Pine Barrens artists will sign their books, display their artwork, play music and share their love of the Pine Barrens. Bring your children to the “Lines on the Pines for Kids” area! 30th Annual Pinelands Short Course

Please join the Pinelands Preservation Alliance on Saturday, March 9th starting at 9 am for this daylong educational event at Stockton University featuring lectures, field trips and music. Topics include weather, geology, hiking, blueberries and cranberries, plants, birds, frogs and toads, snakes, and much more!  PPA staff Dr. Ryan Rebozo, will lead a field trip to the pygmy pine plains. Pinelands Adventures staff will also be leading a bus trip and giving a talk.
