The varied habitats allow for opportunities to see a variety of birds (and other wildlife too!). Bring an adult along and enjoy this rare opportunity.
Children MUST be 12 and older (or 11 in grade 6) to participate and accompanied by an adult or in a group with an adult to child ratio of 1:7. In addition, we will meet up with Gloucester County Amateur Radio club and make connections between their radio transmissions and bird migration patterns! No phone or email registrations accepted. Email Kelly Wenzel with any question at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Petty’s Island Annual Spring Shoreline Cleanup
Saturday, April 13th
8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Petty’s Island is privately-owned and is making an amazing transformation from an active marine terminal and oil storage facility into a State Park. Access to the island is limited, so don’t miss this opportunity to see the island and help in its transformation. We will be doing a cleanup of the shoreline where marine debris threatens the health of wildlife and humans. Children MUST be 12 and older to participate. Registration is REQUIRED for this event; space is limited. Directions and other details are given upon registration. You can email Kelly Wenzel with any questions: email@example.com. Please note that no phone or email registration is accepted. Register here.
