CLIMATE CHANGE: IT’S ON US TO BE THE CHANGE!
The Social Justice Initiative of Congregation M’kor Shalom presents “Climate Change: It’s on US to Be the Change!” on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
Jeff Tittel, Director of the New Jersey Chapter of the Sierra Club, who will speak about:
~ How science shows climate change is human-caused, and specific examples of impact in New Jersey (at the shore, hurricanes, floods, etc.)
~ Realistic, doable ideas on steps people can take in their daily lives to make changes right now.
Ryan Rebozo, Ph.D., Director of Conservation Science, Pinelands Preservation Alliance, who will speak about:
~ The impact of climate change on that nearby jewel, the New Jersey Pine Barrens.
Presentations followed by Q&A
Special activity:
~ Plant tree seeds to nurture indoors and replant outdoors in the spring.
