Manumuskin River Walk

November 10, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

$3
Join South Jersey Land and Water Trust for a nature walk. The Manumsukin River Preserve is the ideal spot for those with an adventurous spirit. In the preserve, you’ll find ruins, the famed “blue hole” ponds with clear, blue water, and a huge variety of habitats — mudflats, forests, and grassy meadows to name a few. Join us on November to explore this fascinating area!

The trail may be wet, so be sure to wear appropriate footwear. Bring insect repellent, your camera, binoculars, pack a lunch and expect to hike about 3-4 miles.

Directions: Take Rt. 55 to Rt. 49 exit and turn left/east, take Rt. 49 approx. 4 miles and make a right turn onto Port Elizabeth Road. We will meet at the railroad crossing on Port Elizabeth Road 2.6 miles south of Rt. 49. Look for silver pickup truck.

Free for SJLWT members. Non SJLWT members are $3 per person.

Call Michael Hogan at 609-476-2086 or email him at: [email protected] if you have any questions.
